is headache’s prose a little on the nose? yes. the 16-bit, crunched synth line at around 1:22 more than makes up for it. this song propels itself forward like a bullet train, intensity that goes in a smooth straight line

I wonder if Drake will ever change. I assume he won’t; the shallowness is the appeal. It’s funny to consider what Drake will 60 be like. He has to retire from music for his own sake. He can’t keep writing lyrics like:

I didn’t say that you’re the most selfish person alive
I just said you better hope she doesn’t die

Musically, I am am obsessed with what he’s doing here. Masterful sample usage and the core synth loop makes me bounce.
